This workshop will only be provided for the residents of Muhlenberg Gardens.
Jersey City's Division of Community Health and Wellness with the collaboration of Hudson County Community College is having an Addiction Recovery Workshop/Resource Fair. There will also be other agencies attending.
This workshop/fair will only be for the students of Hudson County Community College.
Every Wednesday from 11 AM to Noon we distribute FREE fresh salad greens grown at our Curries Woods public housing community vertical farm. On set weeks, normally the 3rd week of every month, we also provide nutrition workshops by SNAP educators. From time to time we host other conversations about sleep, exercise, chronic disease management, or cooking demonstrations. See the attached flyer for this months details.

Jersey City Medical Center and Jersey City Housing Authority are co-hosting a Maternal-Child Health Fair and Community Baby Shower on Thursday, May 4th from 3pm - 6pm. Join the Veterans of Pershing Field for their annual Memorial Day Remembrance Event at Pershing field. This is a heartfelt event that remembers all those who perished during, and after, the Vietnam War.
The event is led by John Stanton and is remembered honorably by a rose laying ceremony as each member's name called receives a rose. The event will be held on Monday, May 29th from 3p to 5p. We hope to see you there!
