Alcoholics Anonymous is an international fellowship of men and women who have had a drinking problem. It is nonprofessional, self-supporting, multiracial, apolitical, and available almost everywhere. There are no age or education requirements. Membership is open to anyone who wants to do something about his or her drinking problem.

Hours of Service: Monday- Thursday 7:30 am- 7:00 pm, Friday 7:30 am- 5:00 pm

Days of Operation: Monday through Friday

Services Provided:

• Individual in-person or virtual counseling sessions.
• Psychological evaluations are performed in-person, online, or by phone.
• (Second Chance)- A session offered to mothers with substance abuse and or in need of mental health.
• Anger Management

Days of Operation: Monday through Friday
Primary focus: Substance Abuse Rehab Services

Services Provided:

• Outpatient substance abuse treatment for adults and youth.
• Co-occurring drug abuse/mental health outpatient treatment for adults.
• Therapy and counseling.

• Inpatient Behavioral Unit (children, adult and geriatrics unit)
• Confidential Telehealth visits (clinical assessments and medication refills) for persons living with HIV/AIDS.

• Most services are not directly provided by the agency.
• The agency subcontracts services for veterans, mental health, youth, drug prevention, community programs, health alliances… etc. 
• Meal programs are provided for seniors and the disabled.

• Medication-assisted treatment for adults.
• Combination of medication, counseling, and therapies.
• Medical visits for tests/services/bloodwork.
• Recovery Support
• Short-term, and long-term residents can opt for offering intensive recovery treatment.
• Halfway houses.

• Help individuals get into treatment for substance abuse.
• Contact primarily via phone.
• They are a referral line that helps connect patients with physicians that can help them hands on in person.

• Mental health services for the homeless and mentally ill.
• Telehealth services for medication monitoring and evaluation. 
• Case management is held via phone and zoom calls. 
• Suspended in-person support groups because of new social distancing measures.
• Online support groups held via www.gotomeetings. 
• Reduced hours per day for outreach, conducted through phone calls instead of face-to-face interaction.

• The Access Center (1-800-739-2762) at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center provides an information repository, and allows callers to initiate a request for substance abuse services.
• Trained intake specialists will assist all callers: patients, family and friends, or healthcare professionals.

• Telehealth services are now offered.
