The 2020 Jersey City Immigrant Affairs Symposium will be the largest convening of service-providers, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders from the city’s immigrant communities. Please join us on January 10, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. in the McIntyre Room at Saint Peter’s University for a day of partnership building and celebrating our shared efforts.
Meeting for those directly affected by violence. If you have been injured by violence, or lost a close family member to violence. please contact ViolencePrevention@jcnj.org for event details.
Tours are given:
-Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month 12-1pm. (except major holidays)
-Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month 7-8pm. (except major holidays)
**Registration for all guests is required for the tour.
**Please note MCH tours are for the expectant couples only. No children or additional guests will be allowed on the tour.
Practice practical English language conversations with volunteers from the community on January 11 and January 25 from 12 to 1 p.m. Learn useful phrases and check out free ESL videos.
If you are a new volunteer, please come to St. Aedan's Migrant Center by 11 a.m. for training.
Registration required. At day of tour, let front desk representative at main lobby know that you are there for the tour.
