In Community is a 9-week peer support program meeting once weekly that provides support within the community for children 6-18 years old who have lost someone important in their life. Volunteers will create a safe space for families to feel comfortable expressing their feelings of loss and not feel alone.

By appointment only! Residents of Jersey City and Hoboken can apply for $10 spay/neuter services for their pet dogs over 40 pounds, and community cats they care for.
Liberty Humane Society operates on the honor system. Our subsidized programs are funded by donations and are meant solely for individuals who truly cannot afford to have their pets spayed or neutered.

Jersey City Medical Center’s Diabetes Support Group is a space where those living with diabetes, or their caregivers, can freely discuss positive lifestyle changes and ways to manage diabetes, check their blood glucose, and more. The group will be guided by a certified facilitator, using the Conversation Map® tool developed by the American Diabetes Association.
