What services do we provide?


The Hudson County Food and Shelter Coalition: A grassroots group comprised of advocates, service providers, government workers, and community members that come together for mutual support, self-education and education of the community at all levels from the local to the national, and to ensure that those we serve receive what they need to survive and thrive. Our ultimate goal is to end hunger and homelessness in our community.

What does building a Culture of Health mean to Hudson County Food and Shelter Coalition as an organization?

Building a Culture of Health in Jersey City, means creating an environment where every individual has access to resources and opportunities that support their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. This includes promoting healthy lifestyle choices, providing affordable healthcare services, fostering a sense of community support, and addressing social determinants of health such as poverty and inequality.
