What services do we provide?

Backpacks For Life is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that serves the homeless and at-risk veteran community. We provide backpacks filled with daily essentials, toiletries, supplies and resources to homeless veterans. We also provide coaching and mentorship to homeless and at-risk veterans and their families with the goal of helping them find the right resources, programs and care that align with their personalized needs

What does building a Culture of Health mean to Backpacks For Life as an organization?

We believe in putting our veterans first. It is not always a one-size fits all approach when it comes to a veterans' physical and mental health but we fully believe in helping veterans understand all that is available to them. Through holistic approaches, recovery programs, peer networks and more, we are committed to building a relationship with veterans who are eager to get themselves to a healthier place in life.
