North Star Project Mindfulness Hike

Brief Description:
In this trip youth will have the opportunity to engage with nature in a meaningful way. Youth will be able to practice mindfulness, self-reflection, coping skills, team building and much more while developing a relationship with nature and experiencing the therapeutic effects of spending time outdoors.
Hudson CASA Drop-in Center

Brief Description:
Garden State CDC hosts a Drop-in Center for Homeless persons daily, Monday - Friday. Food, drinks, group activities, and case management services are provided. Additionally, partner agencies come onsite to provide health screenings, mental health services, veteran services, assistance with Medicaid applications and more.
Riverview Farmers Market

We are a thriving, community-supported, producer-first farmers market, offering a wide range of market vendors (30-40 each week). We operate rain or shine, every Sunday, May through November. We are also a gathering place where the diverse population of Jersey City Heights can get nourishment for their minds and souls, as well as their bodies, through art, music and kids programming. EVERY SUNDAY: *Triple* your SNAP / EBT dollars so you can shop the market with ease - ask at our main tent!
