Why are we a part of the Grant?

Our mission is to enhance life.  This grant allows us to reach beyond the walls of the hospital and work more closely with our community partners towards the goal of a truly healthy society.

What building a Culture of Health mean to JCMC as an organization?

As an organization we can promote the principles of Population Health through the Culture of Health grant.  Pop Health states clearly that health is not owned by the medical profession.  Barriers to being a healthy, happy person include problems with transportation, employment, education, housing, time, etc.  Resources and solutions can come from many sectors of society such as schools, employers, banks, utilities and others.   Working together with the city and all our partners, we believe that JCMC-RWJBH can help make a difference for our patients, families and community.
