What services do we provide?

For 13 years, Nimbus Dance Works has been at the forefront of excellence in the arts, community engagement and impact - harnessing the transformative nature of art to impact audiences and constituents. Nimbus Dance Works began in 2005 as a loose consortium of fellow dancers from American Repertory Ballet assembled by Founder and Artistic Director, Samuel Pott, and now interweaves NDW’s Company, School, and Presenting wings, designed to bring communities closer through dance and dance-making.

What does building a Culture of Health mean to Nimbus Dance Works as an organization?

From the perspective of a dancer, health is holistic: physical, social, mental, and communal. A culture of health in Jersey City means people and organizations building skills and awareness to cultivate health on these interweaving layers. In effect: people are more active, more engaged in their community, more connected socially, and more satisfied with their lives.
