Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church is a Historical Church located in the West Bergen area and has served the community for over 100 years. Our mission is to be attentive to the needs of the people in the community, by providing Outreach Programing. Our belief is to help individuals with an array of supportive services, which includes Governmental, Medical, Legal, and Economic Development. We believe in “Taking the Church into the Community” Bringing the Community into the Church."
Perspective on Health Equity
We support our community, by ministry to the community in search of finding God within themselves. We encourage individuals, how to grow with faith and how to build a culture of health by counseling, promoting social justice, by helping our community and congregation in need. Metropolitan church ideology is to ensure that the community moves in the right direction to make individuals wholesome for society.
