About the partner
MedicZero Inc. is a community-oriented EMS outreach organization with goals of increasing the pre-hospital survival rate of cardiac arrest and other life-threatening medical emergencies. Currently we teach free, online stroke recognition and hands-only CPR classes, and have previously taught socially-distanced in-person classes in a pilot program last summer. We also operate a chapter at Rutgers–New Brunswick and are working on establishing more University chapters and community partners.
Perspective on Health Equity
Building a Culture of Health in Jersey City is vital to our organization. We hope to instill within the residents of Jersey City that health knowledge and emergency preparedness is everyone's responsibility, because no one knows who will be present at the time of a medical emergency. We hope that our services can make Jersey City a healthier, happier city for all.
