What services do we provide?

Founded in 2010, Jersey City Lacrosse is a non-profit organization, partnering with the Jersey City Recreation department to offer lacrosse to the youth of Jersey City, NJ. Each year we have grown and today we offer programming all year long, including a full Spring travel season-to boys and girls in grades Kindergarten through 8th. Our organization is made up entirely of unpaid volunteers and is funded by spring registration fees and donations.

What does building a Culture of Health mean to Jersey City Lacrosse as an organization?

At Jersey City Lacrosse, our mission is to introduce the fun and exciting game of lacrosse to Jersey City's diverse and underserved youth--both boys and girls--and along with introducing and teaching this great game, encourage and enrich their lives by promoting academic achievement, reading, healthy eating habits, discipline and teamwork; as well as provide them with positive mentors, long-lasting life lessons, and a sense of community.
