Good Grief’s In Community program provides free peer support to children, teens, and families after the death of someone significant in their lives, which includes parent, sibling, guardian, mentor, or friend. Our program equips grieving families with the support and tools they need to face their grief. We help families develop healthy coping skills, provide a caring environment to process feelings and fears, and create a sense of hopefulness during a very difficult and uncertain time.
We take our responsibility during this time seriously so we have been working hard to respond to the need and uphold our mission. Support groups via video, family activities, private virtual pages, and more are being utilized by our families as they receive the needed support during this isolation and uncertainty. We are still enrolling new families into our peer support virtual programs
