About the partner

The American Legion is a non-profit organization of U.S. war veterans. and is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization aimed at advocating patriotism across the U.S. Post 419 believes strongly that a united strong community is inclusive of all its members. Often Veterans feel separated from society.

Perspective on Health Equity

Among our members, there is no rank or prejudice, only purpose. A veteran is a member of the community; the community is part of our veterans. And the purpose of veterans in our Post is to strengthen our community through programs, services, compassion, and actions that are inclusive and productive. Our veteran and community members are committed to enhancing the well-being of all by our devotion to mutual helpfulness. We leave no one behind.
