What services do we provide?
Our model is designed around our belief that homelessness is more than a housing issue. In addition to housing, we provide access to education, child care, and ongoing life skills & social support services including counseling, case management, crisis intervention, family therapy, health education, parenting, job skills, household management, &family budgeting. These skills are crucial to our women learning to support themselves successfully developing the skills to maintain independent living.

York Street Project strives to provide safe housing options for homeless and low-income women and children. Supportive services around mental and physical health, education, career, and life skills enable our families to Improve their quality of life with the ultimate goal of sustaining their housing and employment is critical to the health of Jersey City on all fronts.
