About the partner

The PEP Program at New Jersey City University provides interactive prevention programming to the campus & Hudson County communities on a variety of social, health & mental health issues such as substance abuse, sexually transmitted infections, domestic violence, emotional well-being, & conflict mediation. The premise of the PEP program is that people are more likely to hear a message if the messenger is a peer who has similar concerns & pressures.

Perspective on Health Equity

Building a Culture of Health in Jersey City means challenging social norms and contributing positively to social change. A culture of health extends from the individual to the community!
