About the partner

We provide a 12 (2 1/2 hrs.). weeks course in the area of mental illness and free of charge for families and caregivers of adults living with Mental Illness. The course focuses on schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, clinical depression, anxiety, and OCD. Participants will learn effective communication skills, problem solving techniques, and how to manage their own stress in the caregiving role. The course is taught by trained family members who have taken the course themselves.

Perspective on Health Equity

Building a culture of Health in Jersey City means a lot to our organization due to the fact that our organization covers Hudson County. This platform will give us the opportunity to reach the Jersey City community at a larger scale.
