What services do we provide?
I run a community group that we call APurrfectJC. I trap neuter return and rescue feral cats in Jersey City at a rate of about 250 cats per year. These cats are vetted, spay/neutered and vaccinated. I am also a colony caretaker and feeder.
What does building a Culture of Health mean to Jocelyn OKeefe as an organization?
In addition to improving the health of the street cats in Jersey City, I also help the community members who are underserved and need help caring for their colony cats, their personal pets and other cats that need rescuing. Ive donated my time to helping residents fix their cats, TNR their colony cats, providing food for their colony cats, vetting for their injured cats, etc. When the animals on our streets are healthier, the community itself is a healthier place to be.
