What services do we provide?
HCAL provides foster care and adoption placement for rescued and surrendered pet cats. We provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and advocacy for feral community cats. We educate and support the efforts of people who wish to humanely manage feral community cats. Our service area is Jersey City and Bayonne.
What does building a Culture of Health mean to Hudson County Animal League as an organization?
Our contribution is to help people bring pets into their lives, which has many health benefits, and to understand their pets' needs so they'll thrive. By promoting and doing TNR, in which feral cats are rabies-vaccinated, we support public health.
