About Our Partnership with

What services do we provide?

4‑H is the youth development component of Rutgers Cooperative Extension, connecting youth and our community to Rutgers University. The 4-H Youth Development Program uses a learn-by-doing approach to enable youth to develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills they need to become competent, caring, and contributing citizens of the world. We focus on programs that engage youth and families in gardening, sustainability, STEM and environmental education, and heathy living.

What does building a Culture of Health mean to Hudson County 4-H as an organization?

That the social determinants of health in our communities are addressed to ensure that all people have equitable access to resources to live a healthy life.
