What services do we provide?

We are stewards of Liberty State Park (LSP) with a mission to preserve, protect, conserve and promote LSP. We work to protect and improve this urban green open space by advocating for playgrounds, lawns, picnic areas, and many paths. We annually fund trees, and flowers for the many gardens, which volunteers maintain. We are passionate about keeping LSP a free and passive resource for our city residents. Additionally, we will work with the public and city officials to advocate for LSP so it forever remains a natural, historical, cultural and spiritual resource for the community.

What does building a Culture of Health mean to Friends of Liberty State Park as an organization?

The Friends of LSP and all park supporters believe that the quality of life of urban people Is uplifted by free access to this open space park. LSP serves as a peaceful haven and escape from the concrete and densely populated city. We believe that LSP strengthens individuals, families, and the community with the help of a multitude of passive recreational and exercise opportunities. These activities also makes this waterfront park more enjoyable for the community.
