Brief Description:
In-school workshops with at-risk 8th graders from Jersey City to discuss the impact a field trip to Philadelphia to learn about democracy, had on their mental health. Students will be able to share their first experience visiting Philadelphia and how that visit had an impact on their ideas about higher education and democracy. Students will also have the opportunity to talk to peers and younger students about their experiences and practice being role models.
